VIII International Integrated Safety and Security Exhibitions 2015



VIII International Integrated Safety and Security Exhibitions 2015 took place on the 25th year Anniversary of the EMERCOM.

Invited by Mr Vladimir Puchkov, Minister of the Russian Federation for Civil Defense, Emergencies and Elimination for Consequences of Natural Disasters, the "International Civil Defense Academy" (ICDA) participated to the VIII International Integrated Safety and Security Exhibition that took place from 19th to 22nd of May this year in Moscow.

The International Civil Defense Academy visited the Russian Civil Defense infrastructure, Civil Defense institutions and attended to large demonstration exercises.

Fire forces presentation

The International Civil Defense Academy met with professionals in the fields of training of Civil Defense rescuers in various fields :

The rescue of injured people in a fire building (training)

Fire Training in lifelike conditions, wearing the gas masks while making physical efforts in a heated chamber.

Helicopter lifting up an all terrain vehicle to deliver to an emergency location

Diving Training in a 12 meter deep pool. The exercise is to free and bring back to the surface a black box.

Laboratory chemical training with top-of-the-line equipment but also with basic instruments to match real life scenarios.



New alliances were seeded in Moscow, for example, between the Post Traumatic Institute of Kazan represented by Dr Ravil Nigmedzyaov (right) and the International Civil Defense Academy (ICDA) represented by Alexandre Orloff (left) with the kind blessing of Dr Vladimir Kuvshinov, Secretary General of the International Civil Defense Organization, based in Geneva (center).

ICDA’s motto being ''Knowledge Saves Lives'', Swiss Dragons is dedicated to supporting the ICDA in its purpose to create synergies with existing teaching methods and technologies to be adapted and delivered among the member States and around the world.
