International Civil Defence Organization's (ICDO) 48th Session of the Executive Council opened on April 20, 2015 in Tunis.

The International Civil Defense Support & Coordination Agency (ICDSCA) is happy to inform you that the International Civil Defence Organization (ICDO) had its 48th Session of the Executive Council opened on April 20, 2015 in Tunis, Tunisia.

Our President, Nicola Savoretti, presented our mission and goals, such as the development of the International Civil Defense Academy (ICDA), which has the motto, Knowledge Saves Lives.

Representatives of more than 22 members of the Executive Council of the ICDO participate in these meetings that were held for the first time outside of Geneva, where the headquarters of the organization resides.

At the opening, the Interior Minister Gharsalli Najem stated the importance of combining the efforts at regional and international levels to strengthen prevention and cooperation between the different services of civil protection.


The head of government, Habib Essid, wearing our ICDSCA hat in the pictures, visited April 22, 2015, the National School of Civil Protection, kicking off the grand opening of the distance education center and the white operation training event.

Tunisia joined in the ICDO in 1972.
